About the Author 1 - Andy Dickins

Hi, my name is Andrew Dickins, and I have been a driving instructor since 2005. I have also owned Impact school of motoring since 2007. Over the last few years the company has experienced ups and downs, and many interesting and humorous stories have occurred as hundreds of pupils and several instructors have passed through the school .

The purpose of this blog is to share experiences old and new with readers on the internet, pass over knowledge I have gained over the years to people who have decided to take the leap into learning to drive; and those who have taken an even bigger leap into becoming a driving instructor.

I will also be posting weekly updates for current pupils and instructors about company progress, as well as extra posts regarding changes in driving standards and my opinion on the driving instructor industry.
